A liger.

*edit* I guess there have been a few documented cases of liligers. I'll stick with some sort of hybrid, though.

Well if we're going to go with individual animals, there are lots and lots of examples...

My dog
My cat
My uncle's mule
My mom...

Name an animal!
What's your dog's name?

😉

I am assuming this is a trick question ... or the answer is a hybrid or extinct creature.

I suppose Nessie would need a friend to reproduce with, and therefore qualifies?

For those who said a mule can't reproduce, they can. It is VERY rare, though. Recently one was born in Colorado (I think? I don't really remember all of it).
A mule is a mare and a jack.
and because I feel unoriginal and too lazy to name an actually serious answer, I will say a mammoth. 😛

Geldings don't breed much. Naming one.. hm. Bamboo Harvester (better known as Mister Ed the talking horse), or Cloud Ten or White Pharaoh (both better known as Silver, the Lone Ranger's horse).
