The first two are not mate on move, the first one, QxR, second one bishop interposes.

The queen needs to be one more square over to the right on the first one (or replaced with a rook), won't let me re-edit it.

even here, after the king moves, black has Bc4.

Mabye it works if there is a white bishop on D1, then bishop can't move.

In that case, a possible scenario could be black bishop was on c2 and went to b3 check, then king moves, mate.

That would create a situation where there were two mates however, bXb c3# and k-c5#.

Hmm, back to the 'Drawing' board, so to speak🙂

I still like my solution, it follows the original rules to the letter.
