    EDIT: You need proof that the board is 'upside down' before you can flip it.

    Do we have to prove that the board is the right way up? He looks to me like he is in checkmate if it stays that way around....

    I don't see it.

    Either it's right side up and white is mated, or it's upside down and white can capture the bishop with his pawn.

    There really isn't a mate for white in zero moves, and since black just ended the turn, white is mated.


    That, or the question just sucks.

    This thread is hilarious.

    If I may, to those still dumbfounded, it IS mate. Bowmann posted it as a joke. The board is showing mate... nothing needs to be done to it. That's why it is a mate in 0.
