Whose move is it, who has the mate, and is the board the normal way round (white going upwards)?

This can't be that hard. I remember back in the day when there was a corps of solvers who would have ripped this one apart in a day or two max. What happened? Now all we got is "Pimp out an object" and similar other inane threads.

How the hell do you get a board like that on a forum post??? I'm supposed to get a FEN or some but I have no diea what that means... I'd like to create a puzzle thread too but without the board it's no use...

There used to be some experts... I'm too scared to try and tackle this one though!

Next to your games list, theres a thing that says info, click it, and theres a link that says get PGN/FEN

To make a FEN string, use uppercase letters for White pieces, lowercase for Black pieces, and a number for groups of blank squares. Use a "/" to go to the next rank.

    Example: k7/2B5/4n3/6R1/1q6/4K3/2P3p1/8 represents this position:

To make a diagram here, surround it with FEN tags:
    [ fen ]k7/2B5/4n3/6R1/1q6/4K3/2P3p1/8[ /fen ]
(remove the spaces next to brackets)
