Mysterious puzzle

There is a puzzle on my website. Reply to this thread once you have solved it, but try not to give the answer away.

NB: It appears that the puzzle wasn't displaying properly when I first put it up. I have therefore put up a revised version, which should alleviate this problem. If you have already downloaded the puzzle, please use the updated one instead.

That's why it's a puzzle. If no-one gets it for a while, I might start giving hints.

No.

Hint: Look at how each character type is arranged.

Hint 2: If all the 'm's were replaced with '`'s, and all the '`'s with 'm's, it would make no difference to the solution of the puzzle.

I'm kinda surprised Royal Chicken hasn't anwered it yet.

Hint 4: The ends of lines are in the wrong place, but I have indicated where they should be.
