The answer isn't exactly 42 perse, you have to spell it out just right.

Say Iceman. I just solved the final riddle of stage 1, only it won't accept the answer. It says to fill the answer in the box, right? The riddle itself is easy, and i'm sure my answer is right, since the riddle is posted all over internet. What am i doing wrong?

EDIT: i mean the languid.net riddles. On the other one i'm stuck at 1.48...

Well, all you have to figure out is wich word becomes longer when you leave out the third letter. Clearly any word decreases in length when you leave out the third letter, so you have to interpret the question a little differently...
