We all know how to have two children share a pie such that neither can complain. One cuts it in half, and the other chooses the half s/he wants.
Can this be done when there are three children?

Cut the pie into FOUR
Tell the three children if any complain they don't get a share of the last quarter.
Repeat for the last quarter, cutting it into four pieces, etc. etc.
Not only is this fair but the pie will last forever.

You gonna cut up the kids? More like 22 pies shared among 7 kids. 🙂
The idea is, each kid cuts one radius, in turn. Then to minimize complaints of fairness, which one should be the first, second, and third to take a piece? I think it's in the same order as they cut, to prevent an unfair alliance.
