Re5! is definitely the best move. White gains a pawn in exchange for a piece.

Yeah, a born solver. It just took me an hour and coming up with a false solution. Anyway, nice puzzle. Got some more?

I think I know the second, at least:
1. Rxb4 Rxc3
2. Rxb8
I think Ra1+ and Rb5+ are unstoppable...
