    I intend to put quite a few mates on this thread. I have another thread: Mate in 1 which has others, but this should be good. Have fun!

    EASY. Mate in 1 for Black- and his move.

    INTERESTING ONE. White to move. Play your best move in this position or tell me. It is a challenge for people who haven't seen it before. I just love making puzzles!

    Here is one puzzle with a similar idea, just it's mate in two.

    Just a minute ago made it while looking at the same idea.

    That is some messed up notation. It should look more like this...

    1. d8=N+ Kf8
    2. h8=R#
    or
    2. h8=Q#


    Edit: spelling error

    Thanks... although I'm not sure whether that's to be evil or nice....
    By the way, I got the first one, but it is easier when you have the basic idea.
