    a) If the letter A = 1, B= 2, C=3 etc all the way to Z = 26, which country (in English) scores the highest in terms of points?

    And

    b) If the letter Z= 1, Y= 2, X= 3 etc all the way to Z = 1, which country (in English) scores the highest in terms of points?

    can you find a pair of countries where this would change their direct result?

    a different question: how about the lowest score? "Canada" is pretty low already (when A=1).

    argentina = 1 18 7 5 14 20 9 14 1 = 89
    austria = 1 21 19 20 18 9 1 = 89

    There seem to be many others as well

    edit:
    burundi = 2 21 18 21 14 4 9 = 89

    second edit:
    costa rica = 3 15 19 20 1 18 9 3 1 = 89

    It seems every letter has an 89 country.

    third edit:
    Only two countries next to each other alphabetically with the same number are estonia and ethiopia both with 83.
