Alright, that's all I can take.

The small, beautiful bird is a wren.
The original word is 'a'.
The first part of decibel is 'de'.
The way of getting around is via cart.

Put 'em all together and voila: "'wren' 'a' 'de' 'cart'" or, Rene Descartes.

small and beautiful bird: not sure but assuming "peacock" though they aren't small, so "p".
original word = a
"d" for decibel
method of getting around--(on) foot, or in my case, "barefoot express" but i don't think the others would think of that.
