This is just dumb....although I haven't seen too many 8th graders who are 6'1" and 215 lbs.

I can match that. I dont remember my height and weight in eighth grade but i have only grown a minute amount if at all since the summer of seventh grade. I was 6' 3/4" and 230 lbs my freshman year (i remember this year because we took measurements in intro to weight lifting) ... So you are correct, if they are expecting him to grow into a specific role then they are taking a big gamble as I know from experience that growing isnt a guarantee just because he is young.

Have you seen footage of Andy Reid as a competitor in the Punt, Pass and Kick competitions from when he was 13?

That's nothing. Urban Meyer is genetically creating test tube babies at Ohio State to be players of the future.

You have to be one step ahead of these guys if you want to win. 😛

Wake Forest offered Chris Leak a scholarship when he was an 8th-grader also. His brother was at WF then. After Chris won 3 straight 4A Championships, Wake looked brilliant, but he ended up at Florida, and won a National Championship.

How do you know? The pool of blood at OSU runs deep.
