Not sure this is possible but could this tournament be advertised to subscribers on their landing page (most often 'my games' at a guess?).

Russ, can you give us an idea of how big the groups will be before you actually start the tournament, I'm flooded with games as it is and I'd like to know what I'm letting myself in for! 😲

8*8*8=512,
there are 450 at the moment, and only a very slow dribble of extra players coming in, so groupsize 8 will probably do.

if we get more than 512 players we will need to move up to groupsize 9.
9*9*9 = 729
so there is no way we will need to move to groupsize 10 - unless half of yahoo suddenly subscribes and russ gets to buy a new porsche.

Well, your math actually makes me happy that I most likely won't make it past the first round. And with luck like mine, Ironman will just so happen to be in my group...Oh well, even if he is, I would love a game against him.
