2006 Championship

We should have a 2006 Championship for all members of RHP.It will be cool to see that happen like the Big Summer Face-Off.

There was a 2005 championship. It is at its final stage Tournament 414

Like this idea.

It would be good if there were no limits on number of entrants (not sure if this happened for the 2005 one)

Perhaps top two from each group progress?

Start on Jan 1st?

There wasn't in the 2005 one. Everyone could join.

I think it would be great to repeat the 2005 tourney ... Get's my rec for bringing the idea up

the only improvement i can see is a slightly smaller group size ...
groupsize 12 was used last time ... size 10 would also easily do the job.

last year the championship was given about a month to fill ... it will need to be begun soon - come on russ!

Yea, start it soon so it can start on New Years Day.

if russ makes the 2006 championship a "sticky thread" then it will fill better ...

True, last time it was on the second page before it started, what with all the Xmas tourneys etc...

I think the winner of the 2005 championship should get a special star! Maybe a Red cup instead of a star, to show they are the site champion! 😀
