    Hello,
    I'm new on this site.
When Eight Ball tournament starts, and why is it "open" to new entrances if 80 people is in?

It actually needs one of the admin to actually start the tournament. It is still open to new entrants in that those signing up can actually leave, giving the potential for others to sign up.

    Leading player or players progress.

There are 10 groups with 8 players in each.

This means, that there will be "final" 10 people group with best player of each group?

You know that is what common sense says but in fact we don't like common sense here. In fact if the next round will have a number of people not divisible by the group size then people who didn't qualify are picked at random to make up the numbers.
