How about a 'quickfire knockout tournament'

that is, a knockout format, 24 hours per move. i think the one disadvantage of the current knockouts is that they could potentially take forever. on the other hand, 24 hours per move can be difficult in a large group size tourn like qf. so why not combine the best features of both?
