You now the tournaments that you play in one big group how about you do that but with about 15 people and only certain rated players can enter 0-1100, 1101-1200, etc

So what do you all think??????

been done, in any spilt tournament like Grand Split One Seven or Grand Split Three Seven there are 30 people and 2 groups of 30. So the group of 15 play each other and the winners play in finals. Havent seen one in awhile but I missed 2 months so there could have been some none since i've been back though. Not sure if I've ever seen one that was ratings based.

yes but with a rating limit on the entry so you will be playing people around your own ratings
