In Gamma Hardcore Free for All Dual I notice that one of the duels have ended in two draws after only 6 moves in both matches. The result is off course that both players progress to the next round with minimal effort.
Is this allowed? Is it fair play? And how long will the tournaments go on if more people start doing this?
Originally posted by Loose ScrewA game is unrated until more than 2 moves have been made. So if you resign without moving, it has no adverse effect on your rating, or beneficial effect on your opponent's. It like the game didn't happen. Still counts as a loss, however.
How can that be?
You give up the game (resign) ---> you lose the game ---> your rating goes down. Looks logical to me.
Unless there is something in the rules that I don't know about.
Interresting😕

Originally posted by ViAIn another dual tournie after losing the first game, I politely asked my opponent to resign explaining that we would both progress if he did. He politley refused. I lost both games.
