Precisly. There haven't been any of those this year even I don't think.

imagine how much time it takes russ to make hundreds of mini banded tournies ... which satisfy only a very few people for a very short time ...

larger tournies are much more efficient.

it sounds great. groups of 4 will be easier on all of my game load though. I am all for it. 🙂

Sounds great to me too.

You can still have group size 4 but have more than 16 entrants. In the middle bands tournaments of size 16 will fill up in under 10 minutes. Why not instead make larger tournaments? Increasing entrants to 64 only means one extra round (not counting extra rounds from ties).

What the hell happened to Mini Duels anyway?
