It would be at least nice to define "regular". There are a lot of octets starting all the time.

Also you posted this in "tournaments" it would probably be counted as "Site Idea" by some (inclding me).

Third sending feedback is probably more effective than starting a thread

There has been a very steep decline in the number of unbanded Octets on offer. In March 33 started, in April it was down to 17, in May only 11 and only 3 so far in June. These tournaments are very popular and fill up within hours of opening.
But now all we seem to get is loads of mini banded Threesomes which take months to fill up, just look at the number of March Threesomes still waiting to be filled up.
It seems very stange to replace very popular tournaments with unpopular ones, unless RHP is trying cut down on the number of paying members.

Maybe RHP admin have noticed that the clubs have created inordinate tournament numbers over the last 6mths and therefore they've cut the number of official affairs...just an off the cuff remark that may or may not have some bearing.

It seems so.

But the public tournaments front is NOT served by those slow filling tiny bands.

I don't get it, are people intimidated by people who have 75 points more ??
If the point is that some 100 points band fill too quick, just add some more there. I'd think.

The mini 3somes require 27 players - not exactly unpopular as they do fill quite quickly. It also means you only get 4 games at a time.

An octet requires only 8 people and means 14 games. Start octet requiring 24 people and see how quicky they fill up.

Not everyone wants 14 new games at once.
