I'm in Round 2 of a tournament where 2 of the 4 players in my group have not made a move on the site in 3 months. The round started 3 days ago, and yet no time has come off in their games where they are white and have the first move. How long do we have to wait for them to show up and move? Why is there no timeout on the first move? In OTB chess, if white is late to the game, black can at least start white's clock at the start of the game and white can timeout. Why are they allowed to lollygaggle their way to the game here? What is the rule on this?
In future tournaments will I be allowed to play all my black games first then start my white games? Yes, I'm being facetious, but why can't we start their clock after a certain amount of time?
