Sometimes I don't feel like working when at the office. Wandering trough RHP I got the idea of making a list of all Tournament winners up till now. In total there are 36 finished tours 😕 ... and here is the complete list of winners:

Luck won the first tournament, ID #1, it was still in a beta fase back then, so it isn't in his profile, but he did win it! The BIT 1500 tournament, if I recall it correctly... 🙂

I tried to find it ... but the link didn't work anymore ... so I will add Luck as the winner of the first tournament. Thanks Olav.

Sure .... and if I miss one .. anybody can update it .... just copy paste the list ... we have 36 finished tours now ... so when checking the tournaments page chech the finished tours every once and a while if 37 are finished you just have to compare my list (it has the numbers of the tours as well) with the list in the tour section ... easy...

This is not quite correct, the first 2 tournaments were not Beta's, instead they were organised internally through the forums by members, then managed externally again by RHP members.

the 1st tournament was a team challenge between USA v the Rest of the World, which I have a feeling was won by the non US side. The 2nd tournament was the Baker Invitational Tournament, which was a rating banded tournament organised by Dave Baker AKA Schliemann. This was never finished, if you want to see the standings as they were go to http:// hometown. aol. com/ vaknso/ myhomepage/ profile .html (you will need to remove the spaces as the link would be too long).

The results as here are...

1700+ Division - Unfinished
1600 Division Miss Take Champion
1500 Division undecided (But Harri might have won the deciding game)
1400 Division Bbarr Champion
1300 Division Unfinished
1200 Division UNfinished
1100- DIvision Dant Champion

last updated...Updated 1st March 2003

To decide the overall winner the division champs would then have played off against each other, weakest against stongest, until an overall winner was found.

Thanks Andrew for that extra information. As a "newbie" I didn't know about the first tours. I think the list will do as it is now ... as these are the "individual" players who have won a tournament.

I think I will contact Luck to be absolutely sure he did win tour One.

He didn't win the tournament as it never finsihed, winning a division is not winning the whole tournament.

Tournament id 1 was created and then removed by me as a live test.

Therefore, there is no tournament id 1 on RHP.

So they start at id 2.

And that has always bugged the hell out of me.

Can they be renumbered? That would clear up the confusion.

Not a chance. Changing ID columns on databases is close to suicide. (Well, probably as painful. 😉 )
