Resignation in 7 moves

weird ???

Bound to go down a rook against someone rated around 400 points higher. Not that strange to resign, although it would not be something I would do.

Even a blind man could have seen 6. Nc3d5 coming from a mile down the road.

It should not have been too hard to come up with 6. ... Qf6d8 instead of playing 6. ... Qf6g6

Not that i'd ever let something like that happen but if I did I wouldnt resign unless I was playing another player rated 2200+, maybe 2100+. ANy lower than that and I'd play on with the confidence that I could get the piece back or draw wven without the piece. I drew a game on here down a rook before and that player is now rated over 2200.

You've got it wrong. The point is whether you would resign a game if you were a rook down against a player rated 400 point higher than you. By the look af you post you would...
