Tournament with the 128 best players

Hi,

is it possible to creat a tournament with the best 128 players rated?


16 groups a 8 players. The winner(s) plays in one group (16 players) or two groups (8 players).

Time per move 14 days, time out 28 days. Pairing original.

All 128 best players should messaged if they want to play. When one player refuse, player 129 will be asked ...

128 players would be better done as groups of 12 i think.

in the 2nd round there would be about 11 or 12 players ... again making a group of twelve.

Checked my standing,I'm the current #106 and will play if I'm still up there by the time this tourney would start.

Wouldn't you need an OK from all 128 players before the tournament began? Would seem wrong to just thrust a player into a tourney without his/her knowledge of it. 😵
