Can anybody explain ( even to me)what the number for each pair of opponents means in the overwiev tournament-scheme?
How can a player with a lot more points than required as max be in my group (1450-1600)?

The rating at the moment of entering is used to determine is one is eligible to enter the tournament. After that moment anyone can fall out of the band by gaining much more or losing much points while you don't have to leave the tournament. Please note that tournament Xmas 2005 Banded Speedy Grand 1750-1849 Open is not rating controlled, the 1750-1849 should not be there; just a faulty copy and past error by the initiatives of this site... That one is open to all.

I bought a television the other week..... to my suprise I still have to pay for the TV license. I thought if I bought a new tele I would be able to watch all those channels for free🙄🙄🙄
