I like this site, but, I have no interest in being here if GB is still around. Hence, my occasional drive by. Plus, I seem to have arrived at a fortuitous moment. No GB. No raging animosity. It's a relief.

For once your one-eyed lumbering observation is probably correct. Although you are actually conflating: being "pally" with being a "pal" or friend.
