That about sums it up, I think.

I have emailed the people that produced them and asked them to cite the source.

I think porn is a poor substitute for the real thing.

Tea total?

Psycho killer?

Does this have anything to do with porn?

I didn't say that you should drink beer and don't hurt anyone if you are "tea total" or a psycho killer.

Well, actually, don't hurt anyone would be excellent advice to give to a psycho killer.

See, that one is always applicable.

I wasn't debating whether or not porn addiction exists (I imagine it does).

I was simply showing you that your 'cut and paste' from some random website does not amount to presenting facts, as I can present 'facts' which contradict them.

You said:

really, still pandering your opinions as some kind of factual justification, here are THE FACTS,

Whereas, in fact, you have no idea whether these are facts or not.

From that website:

“Pornography addiction is so secretive and shameful that you feel you can’t ask for help. You think you can beat it by yourself. But that is not true. You can beat it only with help. So I swallowed my pride and opened up to my wife. I also sought the help of a trusted friend. It was the hardest thing that I have ever had to do, but I got the help I needed.”—Yoshi.

Those naughty, naughty JWs :-)

I also have no reason to dispute them either and as i have stated i have taken them upon trust that they are factual and have asked the originators to produce the source.

You presented statistics and opinions, I merely presented statistics, that is the difference. Are you saying that there is not an estimated 420 million porn pages online? on what basis? are you saying that 13% of women and 20% of men dont use porn at work, on what basis? you see the statistics that i produced contained no opinion, they were merely statistics whereas the alleged contradictory reports that you produced went beyond that and were full of opinion from such reliable sources as, 'the wire'. So if you want to state that they are not factual then be my guest, personally i have no reason to dispute them.

Is this sourced from the same JW article that says masturbation makes you gay?

first of all the article did not say that masturbation makes you gay, what it stated was that if you nurture gay thoughts you may in turn commit a homosexual act, because 'desire when it becomes fertile gives way to sin'. If you cannot get that correct what hope is there for you?

OK I will delete the opinion.

86 percent of respondents said porn can educate people, and 72 percent said it provides a harmless outlet for fantasies. Among those who reported using pornography, 80 percent said they felt "fine" about it.

Now, we are agreed, the facts are that most people don't think using porn is harmful.

these are statistics about opinions on pornography. They are not statistics about how pornography effects people with the exception of the latter, 80 percent say they feel fine. Well clearly there is a disparity with those who feel depressed, alienated and or attempt suicide.
