I decided to play my old favorite the Birds opening. Not for the faint hearted
12... Nb8c6
13 moves too late.
13. O-O
yeah I know, never expected to castle on the King side, with the Birds opening it's important you control the dark squares, it helps to take off the Black's dark square bishop. However that bishop is tied up, I wanted my rook on the F file and The Black bishop is now blocked in.
13... O-O 14. f5
There's that bird flying high.
14... Nc6e5
! good move. ---- After black moved, this is where I saw my chance to checkmate. With out looking see if you can guess the best move for white next.
15. Bd2xh6
! Did you guess it right? I know, this looks bad using one of my extremely strong Bishop to take off a Knight doing CRAP all. It looks like I'm doing him a favor. I still have 2 pieces defending my Knight so anyone of those defenders could move. I knew he will take back allowing me to get in behind his defense and with his main pieces blocked and stucked on the wrong side of the board not able to do anything about it.
15... gxh6 16. f6
Nothing can touch this pawn at all.
16... Bb4xc3
This is doing me a favor.
17. Ne2xc3 c4 18. dxc4 Qa5c5 19. Rf1f2 Qc5xc4
?? I'm guessing this entire time Black just didn't see the danger or maybe he did just he didn't know how to stop it. Ng6 is the move Black need to do.
20. Qd1h5
!! The game is won from here, Mate is unavoidable from here.
