So this 72 move game is the longest I've ever played, both OTB and RHP. I thought it would be interesting to annotate it. It's probably not my best game, but certainly my longest!!

RHP has informed me that this particular opening is called the "elephant gambit". Fun!
?? WHAT!!??? That was a terrible move!!?? And I WON this game!!?? Huh.
6... Bg4h5 7. Qe2xe4 Qd5xe4 8. fxe4 Bh5g6 9. d3
So now I stand having lost a knight for a pawn for absolutely no good reason whatsoever. Awesome.
9... c5 10. Nb1c3 Nb8c6 11. Bc1f4 Nc6d4 12. O-O-O
I do enjoy queen-side castling. It's probably a weaker move here, though, as the queen side is my stronger side, but it tied things together.
12... Ng8f6 13. Bf4e5 Bf8e7 14. Be5xd4
Bye bye bishop pair. But I guess it's worth it because Nb5 should pick up the pawn.
14... cxd4 15. Nc3b5 O-O 16. g3
? .......eeeeeexcept I don't take the hanging d pawn. Was I drunk!?
16... Nf6g4 17. Rd1d2
Still hanging...
17... Be7c5 18. Bf1h3 h5 19. Bh3xg4 hxg4
Ok, so, that left him with the bishop pair, but that g pawn is weak. Probably not the best move.

So far, I haven't noticed any major flaws in black's play, with the exception being that d4 was hanging for one move too long. My c pawn is backward and weak and very vulnerable.
