Great idea but where? I’ve attended one and had a GREAT time. I’d be open to another and not just here in North America, if I can get all my ducks in a row. Hey we could have a WWG, in person.👍😁

Happy Anniversary what an achievement ! what an amazing site this is and its wonderful to see so many avid players fond of this site ... I came across it by simply googling chess sites to play joined around 2006 what an incredible journey to have come so far !! Excellent ! look forward to meeting Russ one day !

Today marks the 24th anniversary of RedHotPawn.com.

Approx 210384 hours of online chess with an uptime of 99.99%+.

Thanks to all the long term members who've been along for the ride, and to those who have more recently joined.

There has been significant changes over the last year (the large site update released May 2024). And quite a bit more is in progress and/or pl ...[text shortened]... is time next year, it will be a quarter century. I hope to see you about then too! 🙂

I am about a month late looking at this but it has been a tough month.

Russ great job on keeping the site going for this long. It is almost like we are one big family. I've met so many different people on here and gotten to know them some on this site which would never have happened had you not started the site!

You know how I hate change, but I know it is needed to keep up with the times.
Good thing you didn't let me have the life time membership when I asked you back a little over a decade ago for sure. You were right you would have lost money on it. 🙂

All kidding aside, I am grateful for the site and as you well know have spent many hours on it. We have all been through a lot during that time, some of us have passed and will always be remembered.

I hope this Site is around long after I am gone, which will mean when I have passed on to the other side. 😉
