Live Chess Enhancements

Announcements

2 edits

Live chess has received some enhancements recently. These include a game directory, ratings and a leaderboards for each time control and variant,

20 games must be played to receive a non-provisional rating - for example, 20 Blitz games of Atomic chess must be played to receive a rating and appear in the leaderboard.

A full game viewer with supports for variants is now available. Other than viewing directly, live games can also be linked in the forums using [ lgid] n [ /lgid], district from regular daily/cc games, which is [ gid ] (also dgid ).

For example, a recent live Atomic game between @vdb1909 vs @scorer :

Live Game 15908

Clicking a player's name within the live chess pages will show a live profile and stats, rather than the regular pop-up profile displayed elsewhere.

This should still be considered a public beta.

Have fun!

A small tweak - a player's rating on the live profile can be clicked through to the appropriate leaderboard.
