Spring Cleaning

I use all the screens at different times, and I'd like to see the blue stay too. Perhaps you could change the colour scheme on RedHotChess to that of the PTIG. Then we'd still have four different colour options.

I agree. I like the immortal blue skin colour
and the green time for chess skin colour.


And the only two piece styles I like are book and newspaper.

Please keep the blue, the green, book and newspaper.

I just don't like the black chess page.

Hmmm. I've been playing on PTIG skin for several years now. It is probably the best and most professional looking skin here. The rest look horrible to me and hurt my eyes and brain. If this happens I might just go over to c****.com. Played several games over there and liking it. Not that you'd be bothered 😛

chessatwork.com was created so that people could play during working hours without getting caught - from a distance it looks businesslike, no giveaway coloured stripes or background. I don't know if there's still a need for it, most employers keep you too busy to play and if they don't they're not checking on you anyway.

I use PTIG because it is easier on my eyes. I will definitely miss it if there is no equivalent viewing option.

I've always used PTIG because of the colour mainly, but I also liked the name.

Well it seems a last minute deal has been reached
and the bailout of the blue immortal game will go ahead.

The resulting deal has seen the burning of the Senior Bondholders
( that is players who have a rating over 1800 )

Junior Bondholders will be saved. ( those with a rating of 1799 or under ).

The Minister with responsibility for chess ( Russ )
declined to be interviewed as his state limo rushed him
to another meeting.

Subscriptions will not now be subject to a bank deposit levy of 10%
as was thought earlier.

We still do not know the date of when the deal will go live

I am kinda thinking that rather than keep all the separate domain names and such, why can't we have one domain name and simply choose a skin (in My Settings) to show the site in? Much like Yahoo does with their email page, you can choose what colors the page is rendered in.

Wouldn't this be a LOT less work than separate entire sites?

Or am I missing something?

Don;t get me wrong, I'm a complete 'ignoramus' when it comes to this sort of thing, and this is nothing other than idle thoughts, but would it be possible to personalise the beta site in some manner ? Things like 'background colour' options could perhaps be incorporated along with other 'site setting options', it would perhaps negate the need to maintain the other RHP 'offspring' sites...
Edit: Meanwhile, and back to my initial intention for posting here, could you look into offloading this game for me please...it's been sat in my inbox for a few years now and I've been unable to dispose of it myself.
