I would be very surprised if Russ hasn't seen everything being said. Had it occurred to you he may not be interested in it? That possibility does exist you know.

That's the fun part - we stop counting after 800 games. Or 1200 games. Its a Cup.
A short tournament - typically played in the middle of another long season. The NBA is doing it. All soccer leagues in the world play a smaller cup tournament during the season for extra interest.
The goal here is creating more interest in the clan feature.
We get 13 clans to commit to ...[text shortened]... Cup champion. Everyone has played the exact same amount of games against the exact same competition.
So now your dropping it from 1200 to 800 games, how long do you think Metallica and Breaking Bad and some other Clans would take to get to 800 games? Do you think making it lower is going to help you? Have you devised a plan where you think you could get to 800 lowering it from the original 1200 games to ensure you win something? A thought, but not a good idea in my most humble opinion.
What is to stop the same Clans from winning both every year? Then you got another problem same clans winning almost every year! Make the Clans bigger with better players more ranges in rating to compete, the answer is so simple.
Unless as I suggested you are looking at a two tier Clan Challenge where only certain Clan could play for the So called Cup. 😉 I knew this wasn't about all The Clans just certain clans, not to improve the Clan Challenge, but to help certain clans win something who don't put the work into it. My Very Honest Opinion on this can of worms.

I believe sincerely all that has to be done is to make the weaker clans stronger, but it does take work, one doesn't get something without putting some work into it.
I don't think anything needs saving, just more work into what we already have and making clans stronger!!!

So far it is in the talking process. Nothing is confirmed or even been voted on as of yet. I don't see why one clan couldn't win 1200 winning the cup and then win the 1rst Place in the Clan Challenge, unless there are going to be rules on top of rules not even agreed to by all clans yet. 12 clans is a start, nothing saying Metallica and Breaking Bad and other c ...[text shortened]... oth. Then what do you do if the Same Clan wins both, look for another way to win something???
