You have to make your Clan even Stronger, we can then compete, I've also thought of something else I been discussing with another leader, No not Michael.

I am of the opinion most things should be voted on that going to affect the majority of Chess players who are Paying Subscribers.

One idea for improving the clan feature in 2026 is a new Clan Cup
It is sometimes good to have a non-binding straw poll to see where we are at in the discussion.
Clan members and clan leaders - if you think having a new competition next year might be fun, here is your chance to be seen and heard.
Tell your clan mates to take a look at the poll.
If there is zero interest, I will stop advocating for this and we can let the clan system continue as it is today. I know one clan that would be very happy with that.

We only have one choice I went with 4 but would have went 1 and 4 if I had two votes. Improvement that EVERYONE or majority agree with is good for the Site in my opinion.
Don't stop coming up with ideas, I have been watching and you are building a very strong clan, will take a little getting use to your players and their Strengths and Weaknesses, but what a great start you have on your Clan!!!

I appreciate your very kind offer, but those who have been around here for over 10 or 15 years know I only play for one Clan. I was with Metallica 13 Years who I always say was the best Clan on the site, not because of me but because of the Team the Leader of Metallica put together. Everyone now follows what he has done, we have learned a lot from him.

Yes it is, but if the clan system is to be saved I think this gives it the best shot. Non subs can play 10 games here now then another site and on with no commitment to any. This way you give them some time to get vested with a clan, it builds a team mindset, much more involvement and their much more likely to join the site as the system is active again. The clan system is failing and the forums and no one is here for either anymore which means the site is doing the same so are they really perks for being a member if no one is using them but a few in comparison to how many are on the site.

That is so nice to hear. I see you are in 4 Clans! two of them are Bish and Trevor's both new on this site to being Clan Leaders, but I am sure both will do well as they have a good knowledge of the game. So you must be a Clan Leader also?
The Poll taken shows that people are ready for change but not this particular one. It is practically impossible to get everyone on the same page and agree on things. That has been part of the issue in trying to change things.
Having been here for 18 going on 19 years and playing in Clans most of those years. I have seen many changes over the years. Some of which were truly needed, others I didn't really agree with but certainly went along with them as they were made by the Site Admin. I have enjoyed my years playing here, and I hope I have a few good years left.

Ah the Hook🚬 A method of gaining subscribers. Can this be blanketed across the board via notification bell🤷♂️ An adjustment to enablement🤷♂️voting, If it benefits the site, then it benefits us all. This site has morphed many times (innovatively) by members) and as a result a more trustworthy, secure way to enjoy the game. Good point Mike👍
