Clan Folk

I raise my glass to all the clans,
tis a shame it's all so quiet,
I guess we're busy buying masks,
or on some crazy lockdown diet.

Of all the folk on RHP,
tis clan folk in their prime,
we brush aside the Trogglehumpers,
and perhaps commit a crime.

There just hasn't been anything going on lately it seems.

I suppose we could have a conversation about is two rooks worth exchanging the Queen for? Then we would get into the position of pieces, etc.,etc., I don't know how far it would go.

In America, at least, summer is sort of 'away time', in that most take their holiday time off and things slow to a crawl. In Phoenix, the weather is typically so damned hot that people stay indoors and not much gets done outside. Sometimes it's a time for regeneration and re-evaluation before the busier fall months. I usually take mid September to mid October off for this ...[text shortened]... n.

Things are different this year, though, with the coronavirus screwing up everyone's timetable.

P.S. Appears people just don't like hearing the truth up to 8 now! A second wave is coming and you best be prepared! Some Countries aren't even over the first wave yet.
