Thanks Al,
It was an Epic come back from being 400 points back around June I believe it was. Probably one of the best come backs I have ever been involved in.

Your best wishes in 2025 are appreciated, and extended back to you old friend.

All the best to you and your Clan in the New Year.

Geeze I had around 200 plus games going before I even noticed, Plus I am on 2 other chess sites with games going there. I really haven't had much time for the forums. I got it down to 190 and working on getting it down more, it did drop my rating, but I will get back to where I should be in no time, I am sure.

Kind Regards,
-VR

Check out their clan challenge against my clan, they just in the past 3 days resigned 3 games that were pretty even, or at least had a lot of work to do.

Bunch of sandbagging cheaters. Not the first time something similar has happened. Probably the reason why the clan system is dead. Has to be a better system than just whoever plays the most games win.

Trevor,
Sounds like a lot of sour grapes and jealousy coming from you. The games that were resigned were lost, WHY PLAY OUT A LOST CHALLENGE??? Perhaps you better learn a little bit more about how Clan Challenges are played it is is a team effort not an individual one. You have much to learn, and may learn a lot by watching the top clans. You are a New Clan Leader with no knowledge of how it all works. Try talking to the Top Clan Leaders and learn a little about how the Clan Challenges work from those Clan leaders, and you just might become a good or even Great Clan Leader some day, providing you stick with it, as it is a hard grind my old Friend.

They weren't lost. Look at the games of Drew, she was going to lose one 💯. The other was 50/50.

You don't even know what you're talking about.

Sour grapes at winning a clan challenge? That's a first.

I only been in clans for 16 years plus and I don't know what I am talking about???

You Sir are a NEW CLAN LEADER....You have to learn how to play as a Clan and not as individuals!!! Once again your are talking about an individual effort, not Clan/Team one.

I can suggest many things to you, but you figure you know it all already which you are far from my old Friend.

You may be the first Clan Leader ever to complain about winning a Challenge....LOL...

Not a Clan Challenge...A 1rst Place Clan Challenge Championship, Sir!

You should be concerned about more than ONE CHALLENGE!!! 😉

I know when someone resigns a won position it's called sandbagging which is a form of cheating... did you even look at the challenge? I guess not.

Because i'd prefer a fair loss over a tainted win.

Learn how things work in the Clan Challenges New comer, it is wise not to play out a lost challenge, a couple games don't matter if you're going to lose the challenges even if those are WON....I don't think you quite understand yet how it works, hopefully you will, some never do.

I have looked over ALL our challenges Won and Lost....I am a seasoned Clan Player and know exactly what I am doing and what is going on, to bad you don't yet.

What is a fair loss compared to a tainted win, you explain that to us all if you can my old Friend. 🙂

So you admit to sandbagging.

I understand it, like I think I told you before, I was the captain of a snooker team in the past and if we have already lost or won the match, it was better to lose the other games. It's a kind of cheating.

Personally I'd rather win the games and improve my rating than resign a won position just to keep the rating down.

Snooker is pool we are talking about chess here and when a Clan Challenge is lost why would you want to play out the remaining games that don't mean anything??? That is not sandbagging resigning in a lost Challenge, you may or may not ever get the hang of it. Perhaps listening instead of talking may be of some value to you.

That is not the brightest move for a Clan Leader. Captain of Snooker Team (Pool) is not Chess, my old friend. There is an Epic difference in the two. I am sure you were a great Snooker Captain but your a Novice Clan Leader.
