Metallica will run away with the title again this year if shorty wants to put in the time

I don't entirely subscribe to the notion that if it ain't broken don't fix it.
My first observation ?
When I first joined Metallica in 2010, we beat out the 2nd place team by 3034 to 2872 points.
Additionally, 4 other clans got more than 1000 points.
In 2017, the winning clan won with 800 points.
That's a red flag.
I seem to be spending quite a bit of time in hospital just lately so am unable to contribute to this as much as I would like
I in no way wish to belittle Metalicas achievement but when things are not right they are not right
If a 5 man challenge finishes 6-4 and one team gets 10 and the other gets -10 this cannot be right
If the same challenge were done man to man the result would be 6-4
So how in the world is that fair ?

Sports teams get a win or loss whether they win or lose 1-0 or 10-0.
There is no half win or 3/4 win. Or loss.
Why is this being debated to death ?

Every clan plays under the same rules.
Simply don't play if not happy

If it was OK then 5 individual games would equal the same as a clan game of 5

I would like to congratulate Metallica on using the present system to finish top last year
I would add that the only other clan leader who used the present system to his own ends was banned
Perhaps a way could be found where all challenges are played out and not dropped
The current system doesn't allow for this
