Your example above has nothing to do with how any individual performs in his clan.
It is a team effort. Where the members perform well collectively.
The debate here is whether a clan should lose points when they lose the challenge.
The current system works well in that it is a balance between 2 opposing systems.
One was the gross points system which was tried and dropped.
The other was the ELO method which was piloted by Russ in 2016 and was rejected in general.
