Does an existing clan member wish to take over the leadership of the clan?

I've been asking the same question on our clan forum.

It seems our clan leader has disappeared... vanished...
I have to admit, he seemed a little "zealous" in his approach to playing chess.
Even booted someone out the clan. I told him he can't do that, asking: "What the *insert banned word* is wrong with you?"
He then offered the leadership to me, which I declined.

I have no idea what's going on.
At the moment I don't have time to take up the leadership.

What happens if a clan has no leader? Does it just rot away like a corpse in a bog?

It would be sad to see a long standing clan disappear - perhaps you can message some existing members to see if they want the role?

Hi Russ

I'm in catchup mode with the clan issue. I've messaged a couple of IVV members (Sporty and Shav) so waiting to hear back.

Last resort I'll step in the interim as I don't have the time at the moment for clan duties.

BTW - Is there a way to message the clan membership as I can't find it with the recent UI update?

Great question. I can't find how it done either a message to all Members in a clan or a club.

I concur...It is a long standing Clan. I tried to talk the Clan Leader who founded the Clan into coming back but I think what happened left a sour taste in his mouth. Others did put themselves on leaving in protest.

We could in the old Format, as I have done it several times. I can't find where it is done now, or if we can do it at all. Maybe as you said only the Clan Leaders can send a mass message to all in the Clan.

For clan leaders only, "Admin" button, then "Message Members".

Thanks for putting that feature back in, sometimes it is needed if the Clan leader is unable for what ever reason to send out a mass message.
