It was the complacency of Metallica that was their undoing, they thought that all they needed to do was turn up and the win was theirs. Also as you succinctly point out the ineptitude of their leader was a factor. Arrogant and boorish, only taking challenges that he has an overwhelming advantage in whereas the Easy Riders are far more liberal with their challenges willing to take risks and spread our points around in true socialist fashion.
We do not neglect nor forget our friends or such words of encouragement. All will lauded in the final day when we are crowned Chessbombs of the internet! 😀
