maybe somewhere in the clan kingdom there is a leader who can prove me wrong and admit to dumping
there may be cases of dumpimg
but I've not found any other than your clan which admits to this practice
maybe that's evidence enough

We are all in agreement that the challenges in question were already decided as a loss for our clan.
Correct ?

So then, what is your beef exactly ?
That we are conceding the lost challenges to our opponents in 2017 instead of 2018 ?
Is that it ??
Because that is what we are doing.
Conceding challenges that are lost.
NOT throwing challenges at another clan (2016).

On the flip side, are you also upset that we will be collecting points for won challenges in 2018 instead of 2017.

Please tell the Clan forum that this is what is keeping you up at night.

I can't speak for Metallica but I know of at least three other Clan Leaders who invited their members to offer draws or resign games in decided challenges whilst I was in their clans. Robbie was one incidentally.

If you are going to call it out, you have to do it everywhere otherwise you are just targeting your favourite pantomime villain - not the behaviour itself. Russ has continually shown he does not wish to sanction this despite it being complained about many times. He only sanctioned the one who was shown to have prematurely resigned games that affected the outcome of the challenge. Thus he clearly believes that any rating change is within normal limits or where it isn't opposing leaders will manage the pairings appropriately.

my beef has to do with resigning games that are still in contention
my2sons for example
12 moves and he resigns both games
lowers his rating setting up an unfair match in the future
and he is not alone
there is just the feeling that this is a practice that lacks honesty
but within the rules I guess
like I said
no other clan stoops to this level
so no clan will challenge your perch at the top of the ladder

on average at 75 clan losses over a year Metallica did not lose that many more in December than their average for the year and they lost quite a few last January so why did they not dump those ones the previous December?

For the umpteenth time Jerry, we are not dumping.
Every challenge has the outcome already determined.
The win or the loss is already in the bag.
There is nothing wrong with ending a challenge when the outcome cannot be changed.
Or are you a sadist?? You like seeing a worse beating on a loss, or a wider gap on a win?
Get a grip. Dumping is throwing a won challenge and making it into a loss.
Just like your buddy Mctayto did regularly. THAT is dumping.
That is changing outcomes. Ours do not.
Whether it chaps your ass or anyone else's ass, is not of concern to me.
It has been done for years and by many clans.
