The great, underrated science fiction writer and poet checked out personally at age 68. His last web journal entry was on 2 July: http://tomsdisch.livejournal.com

Although his greatest commercial success was The Brave Little Toaster, I'd recommend Camp Concentration, The Businessman, or the short stories.

His oeuvre spawned a text adventure game, Amnesia, which I am going to play. http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/310/Amnesia.html

Have you read 'the word of God'? If so, what did you think of it?
