..i know they did not know much...but knowing and intelligence are different things ( my petri dish for this mold is "progressive liberals" ) but if we could entertain some 12th century threads i think we would all be the better for it...let me start the "12th century thread with a few token threads"..

....beware of highwaymen ( salesman selling used cars and nigerian computer messages ).

....drink only upstream...( from those using the river as an industrial pollutant ( china or the old communist empire )...

...avoid capitalism...avoid communism...avoid national states ( Louis the 16th )...

12th century had a game called "kill the cat". A wildcat was tied to a pole. The contestants had their hands tied behind their backs. The object of the game was to kill the cat using only head-butts.

Not sure how that applies to the modern political scene, but a great visual image.
