Terrorism taken to a new low, 330 died, half of them children. I have a couple of Russian colleages at work who lived near there. They also said the police are making sweeps of the schools in the area and already turned up one bomb in a school nearby. It looks like more children will die tommorow. Islam at its best.

A very sad day indeed,
No matter what their grievences and no matter how many muslims have lost their lives seeking independance, this act was not justified......
Then they came in with guns blazing rather than try to negotiate. That was a big mistake when they knew the terrorists had rigged the gym with bombs. They apparently only nabbed one terrorist, the rest blended in with the fleeing crowds and ran.

The Russian governement could have strang out the situation until they had the right oppotunity to minimize the casualties (and there was always going to be casualties).
Althought i sympathise with the the "rebels" plight i still cannot justify the act in my mind....
Freedom at all costs.....not in this case......................
