@sonhouse saidQuote from the article:
https://phys.org/news/2020-04-scientists-coronaviruses.html
Kind of punches holes in the 'china creates bioweapon' theory.
According to the authors, the newly discovered coronaviruses are not closely related to coronaviruses Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS CoV-1), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) or SARS-CoV-2.
It is not C19 but other types of corona viruses.
In fact we don't know how many Kinds of viruses are in the wordl. Probably a few Million more than we now today...
@sonhouse saidIndeed. In fact we have tried to have a bee-friendly garden since the times we do have a garden...but then who are we against the many?
@Ponderable
We are already seeing signs of that with the mass deaths of pollinating bees.
@whodey saidBatman's going to kick your ass.
Ok then, time to kill off all the bats.
Whose with me?
I've just sent the signal.
(As an aside, bats are amazing creatures, and it's their flying ability that protects them from most viruses).
@ghost-of-a-duke saidAh, so viruses can't fly. Maybe we could kill off viruses by encouraging them to attempt to fly. Start showing Batman re-runs only without the warning!

@petewxyz said😀 Something to do with the adrenaline it requires for a mammal to fly I believe, or something like that.

@torunn saidI personally enjoy squirrels.
Imagine life without the existence of animals and insects, except for the domesticated species - what a boring life!
@ghost-of-a-duke saidHoly hormone, I rushed too quickly at the re-run idea.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI love insects, wouldn't kill any of them. If they are trapped in my home, I pick them up in a match-box and let them out outside.
