Kind of punches holes in the 'china creates bioweapon' theory.
Quote from the article:

According to the authors, the newly discovered coronaviruses are not closely related to coronaviruses Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS CoV-1), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) or SARS-CoV-2.

It is not C19 but other types of corona viruses.

In fact we don't know how many Kinds of viruses are in the wordl. Probably a few Million more than we now today...

Ok then, time to kill off all the bats.

Whose with me?

Don't interfere with ecology if you don't understand the consequences. We as humankind have eradicated probably too many species already for a Sound Environment.

@Ponderable

We are already seeing signs of that with the mass deaths of pollinating bees.

Indeed. In fact we have tried to have a bee-friendly garden since the times we do have a garden...but then who are we against the many?

Batman's going to kick your ass.

I've just sent the signal.

(As an aside, bats are amazing creatures, and it's their flying ability that protects them from most viruses).

Ah, so viruses can't fly. Maybe we could kill off viruses by encouraging them to attempt to fly. Start showing Batman re-runs only without the warning!

😀 Something to do with the adrenaline it requires for a mammal to fly I believe, or something like that.

Imagine life without the existence of animals and insects, except for the domesticated species - what a boring life!

Holy hormone, I rushed too quickly at the re-run idea.

I love insects, wouldn't kill any of them. If they are trapped in my home, I pick them up in a match-box and let them out outside.
