The hitch is, that when you write “Trump says X”, it is out of context, as you take it as totally serious. This confuses Kmax, Zahlanzi, sue et al. We will make Canada a state, or some such. Settle, man, we are too busy, debate-wise, to thresh out the wheat from the chaff.
Writing in present-tense, peppered with facts (“Trump did so-so- because…”???), would score far more Forum cred.
