We should deport the racist English and Irish Americans back to the white hellholes from which they came. 😉

Keep on bad-mouthing those Southern Democrats. You're only outlining how horrible the Republicans are today.

You've been told numerous times that these Southern Democrats became Republicans by the 1920s.

You can tell by the similarity of the racist laws they have passed. Who is trying to abolish the Civil Rights Act today?

While the Lincoln Republicans became the new Democrats.

Every time you blast the current Democrats, you're blasting Civil War era Lincoln Republicans. They are the spiritual descendants of those who wanted to free the slaves. That's why they passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Every time you endorse the current Republicans, you are endorsing the Civil War era Southern Democrats. They are the spiritual descendants of the plantation owners who brought black slaves to America in the first place. That's why they are against voting rights.

You Trumpublicans here always drag this stuff out of your confusion about how the US works and its connection to how the US worked during the Civil War and after. I've had to school you guys on this many, many times. There are others here who share your confusion.

This is all history. Read a book (or two), for God's sake.

Southern Democrats splitting the vote from Northern Democrats is why Lincoln became president. Lincoln won with a minority of votes. All because democrats did not stick together. They were divided.

And that was a good thing.

Today, we see the Trumpublicans united behind Trump, their Great White Savior.

That is a bad thing.

No, it resulted in a costly war that killed hundreds of thousands of people. The debt that resulted put everybody in economic slavery as well. Lincoln was worse than Slobadon Milosevic.

What a fool.

Think of humanity as a whole. Slavery was a pustule on America's ass that needed to be removed. Of course you don't see it that way. Selfish and narrow-minded.

So debt is not economic slavery? Tell that to all the CREDIT CARD HOLDERS THAT OWE MONEY. YOU ARE SO STUPID! And tell us all how much debt the USA has. Cat has your tongue? You are a slave.

Wrong. Lincoln would have won a majority in the Electoral College regardless.https://law.marquette.edu/facultyblog/2013/09/could-lincoln-have-been-defeated-in-1860/

I take exception, sir, to your referring to my country of birth (England) as a hellhole. I mean, sure the weather's awful most of the time, the economy is down the toilet and the government runs around like a collective headless chicken wondering what to do about it, social inequality is rampant, ever increasing numbers of people are living on the street, working people have to visit foodbanks, nobody can afford to buy a house/flat anymore, the population currently suffers malcontent and blames the immigrants, the far - right is rising, we did 'Brexit', which is proving (as many predicted) to be a disaster.....Okay, it's a hellhole. (which is why we live in Indonesia. )

You guys say savior a lot. Yu won't respond to this, but how is it no one ever considered that you libs never regarded Biden as having 'saving' qualities? Bad losing ideas was not the same as the type of saving that Trump exemplifies with every meeting of your/our media in the Oval. You are truly not watching factual news, only talking heads talking, all day, about Trump. TDS reeks. Turn on CNN or MSNBC now, and see what their subject matter is. Riiiiiiiggghht. Never a word of policy or plans for the future of America.
That is ALL the Trump talks about. And, the future of our global world. Likely SCOTUS will go against him on Tariffs (a tax) but he will forge ahead and hardly a ripple will be felt. Meanwhile, we will have a glut of Sonhouse..."SCOTUS rules against Trump!!!!''' Yeahh!!"
As Donald and I like to say,,,'we will see how it goes...'

aaaaahhhh, honesty on the Forum. So, tell us, which of all the countries is the best all-around country. Wife sent me to the grocery store to get a certain item which came in EIGHT varieties.....and that was before I got the 'gluten free' shelf. (cuba aint got no gluten free...downer).
So, I had to call her for instruction. She said, oh there is another section, Aisle 9 where more specific items are shelved.
Who knew?? I love this country.

I could of course honestly tell you some of the good things about dear old England, but that would not have been in the spirit of the post...As to which country is the best, I've no idea, I haven't lived in them all, or visited most of them, and one can otherwise only have an outside perspective. I mean Afghanistan wouldn't be my first choice as a place of residence, nor would Siberia (too cold) , but one makes ones' choices, given that we only get one go at this, and Indonesia's working out fine for us. I suppose we all have our priorities, things which are important to us, and if having eight + varieties of whatever it is to choose from floats your boat, knock yourself out, as I believe they say in America.

The grocery analogy is but an example of our greatest asset...Convenience, and oh, choice....usually within 3 blocks in any direction. what country can say that. Sarah Brightman performs very close to me (Sarasota) on Dec 15. 4th row!!We can see just about anyone anytime in the USA.
Type 'Tour' in front of any entertainer ( in the USA) it is amazing. And, hey, sarasota Florida is not Vegas, we got it all man. If you are still thinking, you cannot go wrong, pick the USA.
Having said that, my all time is Neil Young, seen him here, but dammm. you got him upcomoing in the UK. You got me there!!
