T. Boone Pickens, the founder and chairman of BP Capital LLC of Dallas, said Wednesday that a bill to help convert U.S. trucking fleets to natural gas may win congressional approval this year with bipartisan support

It appears that this is something that both the GOPs and Dems may both be willing to support. If this turns out to be the case, Pickens deserves a Medal of Honor.

The Pickens Plan includes massive investment in both wind farms building and clear natural gas usage. They both seem to be worth looking into.

where's the catch?

energy density of LPG vs gasoline?

acceleration of depletion of gas reserves?

isn't Pickens a West Texas natural gas magnate?

there's wind farms all across Texas now. at least in the panhandle and south Gulf Coast. i think one of the news mags said that if Texas was a nation, it'd be ranked 7th in terms of wind energy.
