Until abortion became legal, women in the US struggled on the black market for abortions, suffering tremendous risk to their bodies. Now abortion is legal, however it is so heavily regulated that it has distorted the abortion market.
I say let the market decide. There is a demand for abortions and willing suppliers. Low cost, safe abortions that could be performed are not being performed. Mutually beneficial trade is being restricted. Government is a leviathan! Free market = free people!

Hey, presumably the same reasoning applies to lethal drugs, fake passports and weapons of mass destruction!
God Bless the Free Market!
Consider there are over 1 million abortions in the US every year. Now assuming that the overwhelming fraction of these women are only purchasing one abortion in a given year, there is enormous gains to be made by expanding their budgets constraints. If women only pay the marginal cost of an abortion, think of the money they can spend elsewhere! It would US GDP big time! Stop suffocating our country. Let the market decide.

Sounds good telerion, the situation in New Zealand is that abortions are subsidised by the government.
This means that those totally opposed to abortion are being made to pay for abortions, and back in the bad old days it was the illegality of abortions that made them so dangerous to the womans health.
You're onto it.
