You totally sucked me in on that one. I knew I should stop but NOOOOO!!! I couldn't ... 🙄

Go M's! The wife and I will be there for Opening Day. Are you going?

I'm assuming you live in Seattle.

Spokane. I have children and siblings in the Seattle area, however, including a brother working for Ticketmaster.

My mother is often at the opener. I go rarely, and they always win when I do. 😏

Well, if you can't make it I'll be sure to stop by Pyramid Brewings beer garden and tip one or two for ya. Gotta get the season started off right man.

Not a Mariners fan but I plan to catch a game this year. Been to every ballpark except Seattle and San Francisco.

Impressive. Will you finish the tour this summer?

I think you'll love Safeco Field. Just beautiful. My wife and I plan to visit ballparks along the west coast during the next few summers.

Her brother is like you, he loves to visit all of the ballparks and has done so. I think that would be a pretty rare thing.

Have either of you been to Spring Training?

I grew up (ha!) in Spokane, mostly Veradale, but some time on both north and south sides. Last time through--- three years ago--- well, she ain't like she used to be!

Central Valley boys' basketball team took second in state this year, I see. How long have you been in Spokane?

Three years this time around, but I've been leaving and returning since I was born here back in Ike's day.

Every time we do get there, it is always accompanied by the requisite stop at Dick's Drive-In. Personal favorite: double whammy with cheese, fries and a chocolate malt. They have the best malts I've ever tasted. I have fond memories of me and my girlfriend in my 1961 Buick LeSabre (the BiffMobile), grabbing a burger at Dick's on a Friday night, usually after a movie at the Magic Lantern.

Good times.

Bumping four threads with one bump? I am impressed. Now that you have bumped them, does that mean the abortion has failed?
